This one-pan lemon pepper catfish dish will have you covered for your fish Friday meal planning needs and is on the table in less than 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 pound sliced button mushrooms
- 1/2 medium shallot, diced
- 1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 large Heartland Catfish fillets or 4 small Heartland Catfish fillets
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley, for toppingSliced lemon, for serving
Instructions
Prepare and wash all product. Chop onion, garlic and parsley. Slice lemon.
In a medium-sized skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
Add sliced mushrooms, shallot and half lemon pepper, sauté 3-5 minutes.
Add garlic and continue cooking for 30 seconds.
Salt and pepper both sides of catfish fillets.
Top vegetables with catfish fillets, sprinkle with smoked paprika and Old Bay seasoning.
Cook, covered, for 5-7 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
Serve topped with chopped parsley and lemon slices.
